Configuring OsCommerce - OsCommerce Sending Emails

Order Email :- The order email is created once the checkout has been completed by a customer. By default only the customer receives the order confirmation via email.

Tell -A-Friend :- The Tell-A-Friend email is sent when a customer want to inform someone else about one of your products.

Welcome Email :- The welcome email is sent when a customer creates an account at the store.

To sent an email to customer

Step 1

Open Admin → Tools → Sent Emails

Step 2

Fill up the following details.

Customer :- You can sent to a specific customer or sent a mass email to all customers. As well you can choose to sent emails to your subscribed newsletter members.

From :- You@yourmail.com

Subject :- Subject of the email.

Message :- Type your massage. click send mail

Step 3

You have a final opportunity to preview the details before sending out the emails.Verify to mail and click send mail.
